Fable PC Requirements: GPUs, RAM and Upscaling Explained

Fable’s official PC requirements include 12GB RAM at minimum and 16GB recommended, with an SSD required. Its FAQ also names newer GPU options and supported upscaling technologies. This is a review of existing information, not a newly announced specification today.
The GPU options worth checking
The official Fable FAQ lists RTX 5060 and RTX 3060 Ti, plus RX 9060 XT and RX 6700 XT, as recommended graphics options. Minimum options include RTX 5050, RTX 2060, RX 6600 and Intel Arc A580.

Upscaling is supported, but check your hardware
The FAQ names NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 3/4 and Intel XeSS 2.1. Availability depends on compatible hardware. A technology name on a feature list is not a promise that every supported graphics card can use every feature.
Before interpreting a performance target, look at the complete preset and whether the target assumes upscaling. Avoid comparing two games’ “recommended” labels without checking how each publisher defines them.
Upgrade the part that actually falls short
Start by comparing your existing system, rather than replacing several components at once. If storage is the only problem, a larger drive will address capacity; it will not turn a below-spec GPU into a supported one.
