Fable launches February 23, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, day one, so unlike some releases there's no doubt a PC version exists. There just aren't official specs yet. Here's a researched estimate.

Why we predict this

Two things anchor this estimate:

  • Current-gen-only, same pattern as GTA 6. Fable has no PS4/Xbox One version, so like every next-gen-only title, its PC minimum is likely to sit meaningfully above cross-gen titles from the same studio.
  • Playground Games' track record leans well-optimized. Forza Horizon 5 (their prior open-world title) shipped with a genuinely low minimum (GTX 1050 Ti-class) and scaled cleanly up to enthusiast hardware. Fable is a different genre (open-world action RPG, not racing) with denser environments and NPC-driven towns, so expect a higher floor than Horizon 5, but the same studio habit of broad scalability.
