GTA 6 Vice City Collection: $399.99, but No Game Included
The “crocodile edition” you may have seen is Rockstar’s Macca the Gator merchandise collection. It is a separate purchase from GTA 6, not another edition of the game.
What Rockstar announced
Rockstar announced The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection on September 24, with a November 19 release date and limited pre-orders. The character is Macca the Gator, from a fictional television show in Leonida.
The official Rockstar Store listing showed $399.99 when checked on September 25. Treat that as the listed US price, not a delivered total: the store says this item is excluded from free shipping. Confirm regional availability and the total at checkout.
What is in the box?
The set contains 11 physical items. Highlights include the Macca figure, Oakley sunglasses, a New Era cap, a crossbody bag and a two-sided poster with a Leonida map. Smaller collectibles complete the package; Rockstar’s listing has the full inventory and dimensions.
This is merchandise for collectors. It adds no storage capacity or hardware performance to your console.
Collector’s box or game edition?
| Purchase | What you are buying | Includes GTA 6? |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | The game | Yes |
| Ultimate Edition | The game plus additional in-game content | Yes |
| Vice City Collection | A physical merchandise set | No |
Rockstar lists Standard and Ultimate separately on its game store page. The store’s code-in-box Standard option is also a different product: it contains a download code, not a disc.
What should you buy to play?
Our take: start with the game and a supported console. Consider the collector’s box only if you want the merchandise and have budget left. Already own the hardware? Check your available storage before shopping for accessories.
