Metro 2039’s final PC requirements have not been announced. The Metro community team says the earlier store specifications were accidental placeholders. It has separately stated that the game needs a ray tracing-capable graphics card.
Why the previous hardware list should be ignored
In a response from the MetroVideoGame community account, the team rejected the circulating specifications and said they had been removed. PC Guide reported the correction on October 20.
The practical consequence is simple: an old screenshot is not a safe shopping list. CPU models, memory capacities and storage figures from the withdrawn list should not be presented as the game’s final requirements.
Ray tracing support does not establish performance
The confirmed feature requirement narrows the question, but it does not answer whether a particular card will deliver a playable result. Final GPU models, graphics settings and frame-rate targets are still needed for that comparison.
