Fable: PS5, Xbox & PC
Unlike GTA 6, there's no console-exclusivity decision to make here, Fable launches on all three platforms the same day. The real question is whether to buy it at all, or just play it on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
What actually differs between platforms

No official word yet on cross-save or cross-play between platforms specifically for Fable. We'll update this the moment Playground Games confirms either way.
Should you buy it or subscribe?
- Already have Game Pass Ultimate? Don't buy Standard separately, it's included. The only reason to still pay is the Premium Edition's five-day early access window, which Game Pass alone doesn't grant.
- On PS5? There's no Game Pass path here, buying is the only option. See our price breakdown for editions and current listings.
- Not sure you'll play past launch month? A one-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription is usually cheaper than the $69.99 Standard Edition if Fable is the only reason you'd subscribe, worth comparing against your actual playtime plans.
