Why we predict this

Two things anchor this estimate, and both point toward a demanding minimum:

  • The Metro series has a track record as a GPU benchmark. Metro Exodus (2019), and especially its Enhanced Edition with full ray tracing, became one of the industry's standard graphics benchmarks for years. 4A Games has consistently pushed visual fidelity harder than most studios at a given hardware generation.
  • Current-gen-only, same pattern as GTA 6 and Fable. With no PS4/Xbox One version, 4A Games has no legacy hardware to design down to, which typically raises the PC floor compared to a cross-gen release.
