WARDOGS Launches in Early Access, Official PC Specs Revealed

BULKHEAD's 100-player tactical FPS went live on Steam today. Unlike most of the games we track, there's no prediction needed here, Steam already lists the full official requirements.

Confirmed: WARDOGS entered Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026. PC (Windows) only, developed by BULKHEAD, published by Team17. $39.99 Standard / $49.99 Supporter Edition.

What just happened

Steam Early Access opened today. BULKHEAD's own store page frames this build as "fully playable," not a rough preview, so the requirements table below is the real one, not a placeholder that changes at 1.0. Expect it to move anyway: BULKHEAD has already flagged fighter jets and expanded weapon categories as planned additions over the next 1-2 years, and Early Access games typically get more demanding as scope grows, not less. See our Early Access requirements piece for how that's played out in past titles.

One thing to know before installing: Easy Anti-Cheat runs at kernel level here, standard for a 100-player competitive shooter, but worth flagging if you're privacy-conscious or run Linux, Steam Deck support is listed as Unknown rather than confirmed working.

Want to know exactly where your own PC lands instead of eyeballing the table? Run it through the WARDOGS PC checker, takes about 10 seconds and gives you a ReadyScore™ plus your specific bottleneck if there is one.

The interesting part: RAM doesn't change between tiers

Unlike almost every other game we track, WARDOGS lists the same 16GB RAM figure for both Minimum and Recommended. If you're sitting at 8GB, that's your first and cheapest fix regardless of which performance tier you're aiming for. Everything else, CPU and GPU, scales the normal way between the two tiers.
