Predicted, low confidence: Rockstar has not published official GTA 6 PC requirements. These recommendations use GameReadyCheck's predicted Minimum and Recommended tiers and therefore have low confidence. We will replace them when official requirements are published. GTA 6 has no official PC specifications, so every pick here is predicted. These are not benchmarks. Amazon listings change, so check each listing's exact GPU, CPU, RAM and SSD before you order.

Three predicted tiers

Each tier maps to a GPU class from our predicted GTA 6 tiers. The exact model you land on depends on current stock and the listing's configuration, so match the GPU class and the RAM and SSD in the list below, not a model number.

Budget tier

  • GPU class: RTX 4060 / RX 7600
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: SSD
  • Predicted use: the predicted Minimum route, aimed at 1080p

Who should buy this? Players who want to run GTA 6 at the predicted Minimum and mostly play at 1080p. The trade-off is lower settings, because this tier sits below our predicted Recommended tier. If you want 1440p High, saving for the Recommended tier is the safer plan.

Low confidence, predicted.

Recommended tier

  • GPU class: RTX 4070 / RX 7800 XT
  • RAM: 32GB preferred
  • Storage: NVMe SSD
  • Predicted use: the predicted 1440p High route

Who should buy this? Most players who want to meet our predicted Recommended tier. The trade-off is that the listing must also pair the GPU with a CPU at the Recommended level, so check the CPU before you order. Waiting makes sense only if you want to see official requirements first.

Low confidence, predicted.

Enthusiast tier

  • GPU class: RTX 4080 or similar
  • RAM: 32GB or more
  • Storage: NVMe SSD
  • Predicted use: extra headroom above the predicted Recommended tier, not a guaranteed 4K result

Who should buy this? Players who want headroom, higher refresh rates or a PC that stays comfortable for longer. The trade-off is that our predicted score tops out at 100, so it cannot show what the extra GPU adds. If you only want to meet the predicted Recommended tier, the Recommended tier is enough.

Low confidence, predicted.

We have not hands-on tested these units. The picks come from the GPU class and the prebuilt lines already covered in our Best Prebuilt Gaming PC guide.

How we estimated the score

We only show a ReadyScore for a full reference configuration, and we use the same ReadyScore formula as the GTA 6 checker. Because the CPU, RAM and SSD differ from one Amazon listing to the next, each tier shows a range: the low end assumes a CPU at our predicted Minimum tier, the high end a CPU at the predicted Recommended tier.

TierReference configurationPredicted ReadyScore
BudgetRTX 4060, 16GB RAM, NVMe SSD77–84/100
RecommendedRTX 4070, 32GB RAM, NVMe SSD84–100/100
EnthusiastRTX 4080, 32GB RAM, NVMe SSD84–100/100

These are predictions from our tier model, not benchmarks and not a promise about any specific listing. A listing with a weaker CPU or less RAM than the reference scores lower, so read the specification on the Amazon page. See the methodology for how ReadyScore works.

Check before you buy

A new PC is only worth it if your current one falls short. The checker scores your setup against the same predicted tiers and tells you whether one upgrade is enough.
